Privacy Policy

Our "Local-First" Processing Architecture

We prioritize your privacy by design. The vast majority of our tools (including most PDF editors, image converters, and calculators) utilize Browser-Native Processing. This means your files are processed entirely within the memory (RAM) of your own device. These files are never uploaded to our servers, and we have zero access to them.

Server-Side Processing (When Required)

For a select few complex operations that cannot be performed in a browser (such as breaking heavy PDF encryption or generating deeply compressed archives), your file is temporarily processed on our secure servers. In these specific cases:

• The file is transferred using bank-grade TLS/SSL encryption.
• The file is processed strictly in isolated, volatile server memory.
• The processed file, both the original and the output file are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers.

Information We Collect (User Accounts)

While most of our platform is accessible anonymously, certain advanced features require a free user account. If you choose to register, we collect:

• Account Data: Your email address and a securely hashed password to authenticate your sessions.
• Saved Tool Data: If you use features explicitly tied to your account (such as saving custom QR Codes or Favicon configurations), that generated data is stored securely in our database so you can access it later from your User Dashboard.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser sessionStorage and HttpOnly Cookies strictly for functional purposes. sessionStorage is used to securely hand off your locally processed files to our Universal Download Screen. These temporary data blobs are destroyed the moment you close your browser tab. We do not use tracking cookies to follow you across the internet.

Your Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have absolute control over your data. At any time, you can access your User Dashboard to permanently delete your saved generated assets. If you wish to permanently delete your entire account and associated email address, you may do so via your Account Settings or by contacting our support team.

Third-Party Services

To protect our platform and improve your experience, we integrate the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager): We use aggregated, anonymised traffic data (pages visited, session duration, device type) to understand how our tools are used. Google's data collection is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You may opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Google reCAPTCHA v3: Our contact form uses invisible reCAPTCHA to detect bot submissions without user interaction. reCAPTCHA may collect hardware and software information and send it to Google for analysis. Its use is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy as we add new tools or change underlying processing engines. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
